Over the last 14 years I have treated thousands of patients suffering from foot pain, many of whom complained of debilitating pain in the heel. A Many of these patients had been dealing with chronic pain scale for several years and many of them for decades. Patients often suffered from these pains were those facing years of repetitive activities using their feet or whose career is necessary that the hours of laborious standing or walking.
After having diagnosed and treated thousands of people suffering from heel pain I came to the conclusion that more than 90 percent of the time, pains in the heel due to inflammation of the plantar fascia, a band of tissue that connects the bottom plate of the bone the heel and extends over the entire bottom surface of the foot where it connects to the toes. This condition is commonly called Plantar fasciitis. If you have been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis, it is important for you to realize that the plantar fascia is not really the problem with your foot Rather, the plantar fascia is inflamed actually the result of a more serious problem underlying.
Many patients with fasciitis plantar also a heel spur. While this may be a surprise for you, the heel spur does not cause pain. The pain you feel is really from irritated and inflamed nerve endings in and around the plantar fascia. Once the real problem is corrected you will walk always the spur, but there will be no pain. Many doctors make the mistake of focusing on the spur as the problem when in reality it really is not.

The foot is designed carefully placed with 26 bones arranged in four distinct arcs and is maintained by tens of ligaments, tendons and muscles. When the structure and alignment is tact successfully foot can absorb thousands of pounds of force throughout the day. It is healthy when the alignment of the bone structure of the foot is lost the plantar fascia covering the lower part of the foot is compromised. I realized a 95% success with my treatment of heel pain pain.
When the 26 foot bones are in their normal alignment and healthy you should expect to see a perfect arch as you stand barefoot on a flat surface. If however your arch and flat or falling even if they are excessively high and rigid, which means there are misalignments of the bones of your feet. Walking with misaligned bone is much more likely to have disabling heel pain, especially after standing or walking for long periods of time. There is abnormal tightness, pulling and twisting force on the plantar fascia when the foot bones are not aligned. Then, with repeated standing and walking the plantar fascia is exposed to abnormally high levels of stress, which leads it to be irritated and inflamed.
