How to get rid of calluses on your feet
Calluses are hardened area of skin that has become thick and hard because of friction, repeated irritation or pressure. Calluses are usually on the feet because of constant friction in the wake of frequent walking. They can be harmful, but can cause skin infections. Most of all, having calluses on your feet is much talk about personal hygiene person.
Not all calluses are caused by serious friction. Some calluses are caused by certain toxins such as arsenic can cause thickening of the palms and soles.
Be sure to prevent rather than wait
It is easier to prevent than to treat calluses. One of the best ways to prevent the growth of calluses is to minimize friction and pressure from the skin of certain elements. Another way is to ensure the shoes that are worn properly mounted. Most people who develop calluses on the feet due to the wrong size shoes they wear. For those who play sports where there is constant friction of the hand and facilities such as tennis may choose to wear protective gloves to reduce friction.
Invest in some creams
But for those who can not avoid the unwanted callus, they can use topical creams that are available in the pharmacy. Topical creams containing salicylic acid can accelerate healing.
But for those who do not want to spend a cent for topical creams. There are several ways to do-it-yourself to get rid of these unwanted died of skin. Soak your feet in warm water with few drops of white vinegar, olive oil or mustard oil that soften the dead skin and thick and hard. It will also restore the natural moisture of the feet.
Scrub away at the area
Another way get rid of those unwanted dead skin is to rub your feet with a pumice stone, but be sure to use smooth and clean it regularly. After washing, make sure to apply lotion does not keep your feet dry. But if you're afraid to do it yourself, you can visit the foot health practitioner to do it for you.
Having calluses feet free means only one thing – you do not need to worry about wearing your flip flops the next time you go shopping.
